En: The wind blows sharply through the trees of Tsitsikamma Nasionale Park.

Af: Die blare ritsel soos geheime in die lug.
En: The leaves rustle like secrets in the air.

Af: Anika staan stil, haar hart klop vinnig, maar nie van vrees nie.
En: Anika stands still, her heart beating quickly, but not from fear.

Af: "Nasionale Vrouedag," dink sy.
En: "National Women's Day," she thinks.

Af: 'n Dag waarin krag en deursettingsvermoë gevier moet word.
En: A day on which strength and perseverance should be celebrated.

Af: En sy, 'n toegewyde omgewingsbewaarder, wil haar navorsing oor die seldsame plantspesie voltooi.
En: And she, a dedicated environmentalist, wants to complete her research on the rare plant species.

En: "We must seek shelter. This storm can be dangerous."

En: She hesitates, looks at the plants, feeling the urgent pressure to finish her work.
