No: Det var en kjølig høstkveld i et fint, avlåst område i Oslo.
En: It was a chilly autumn evening in a nice, gated area in Oslo.

No: Gatene var pyntet med lysende gresskar og grener med gyldne blader.
En: The streets were decorated with glowing pumpkins and branches with golden leaves.

No: Latteren fra barn som løp rundt i nabolaget skapte en forventningsfull stemning.
En: The laughter of children running around the neighborhood created an atmosphere full of anticipation.

No: Det var Halloween, en tid Lars vanligvis så på med en viss forsiktighet, men i år hadde Ingrid overbevist ham om å lage en stor feiring.
En: It was Halloween, a time Lars usually approached with some caution, but this year Ingrid had convinced him to host a big celebration.
