Story Transcript:

En: The autumn afternoon was setting over the Ancient Agora of Athens.

En: The gate of the Agora opened like it was the onset of a festival.

En: People gathered with smiles, ready to vote in front of the ancient columns and statues that stood as witnesses to history.

En: Sophia, a historian with a passion for democracy, was among them.

En: She knew the significance of the day: an opportunity to celebrate the "no" of another year some days earlier, as well as to decide for the future.

En: However, suddenly, Sophia realized something was wrong.

En: Someone whispered that the ballot box had disappeared!

En: Sophia felt an agonizing tightness in her chest.

En: Without the box, the voting would not take place.

En: The crowd grew worried, but Sophia made a decision: she would not wait for the authorities.

En: She had to find the box herself.

En: As she began to investigate, her mind raced in every direction.

En: A sly whisper from someone who knew her well reached her ears: Thalia, her friend, had some connection with Leon, the opposing candidate.

En: Sophia ventured into the darkness of the night, searching for clues.

En: She searched the edge of the Agora, among the stone pathways and shadows.

En: There, she came face to face with Thalia.

En: The twilight lights revealed a more bitter truth: Thalia, under pressure from Leon, had helped with the disappearance.

En: Sophia, with a heavy heart, confronted her.

En: Thalia burst into tears, admitting her actions, but also fearing the consequences.

En: Sophia, hurt but strong, found the ballot box hidden nearby in a shadowy corner.

El: Η ψηφοφορία συνεχίστηκε.
En: The voting...
