E8.2 The Battle of Infertility (feat. Elizabeth Caulkins) Part 2
After discussing PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) in Part 1, we pick up right where we left off and transition into Elizabeth's story with infertility and later on we discuss her work as a sex educator, where she shares about birth control options & menstrual cycles (the way they should really be taught!) We discuss some common myths about fertility, how impactful male fertility is, and the reality of what it's like throughout the whole journey. I know it helped me feel deeper understanding, love, and compassion for those who go through this. TW: We do discuss miscarriage & grief surrounding that, so if you're not in a place to hear that you may want to either skip this episode OR skip to 33:33 (min:sec) in to hear about our conversation around sex ed. I'm happy to share in the months since we recorded this episode, Elizabeth and her husband have both made significant steps forward in their journey. If you'd like to follow along to see what's helped them, check out her fertility Instagram @beforebabytharp --- If you'd like to get an exclusive sneak peek of our upcoming episodes, join my email club below! www.cyclewayworkshop.com To keep up with the conversation on social media, follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Threads @cycleway.workshop
