Rihanna's "Rated R" - Ep. 23

Soon after a tragic domestic violence incident, Rihanna returned to the studio to create her darkest album to-date, “Rated R”. As a follow-up to her massive “Good Girl Gone Bad”, the album is the first introduction to an edgier Rihanna, full of dubstep, hip hop and even rock-tinged sounds. It failed to gain the popularity of her other studio efforts, though, despite the saving grace of her third single “Rude Boy”. How does the album stack up in 2023? Steve and Mike share their take in the Flopography season three season finale.
