Ted Jr and Kelly have been serving in ministry in Nicaragua since 2009 and started serving at Arms of Love in May of 2011. They moved to Nicaragua to serve Arms of Love full time in April 2014. Ted was raised in the service industry, learned construction from his father, and followed his path. Kelly worked in the IT industry before receiving the call from God to pursue a master's degree in Counseling. Ted and Kelly were both raised in St. Louis, MO and have a son (Teddy). They have actively served in the local church since God saved them, and have a huge heart for community. Ted enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, theology, and meeting new people. Kelly enjoys reading, running, and sharing time with her friends and family. Teddy enjoys baseball, soccer, building legos, and currently attends grade school at a bilingual school outside of Jinotepe.

Episode 5 - The Body of Christ

Ted explores the importance of all aspects of the body of Christ.
Ted shares some of the major projects that are happening at Brazos de Amor.
1. Community Development Center - The building will be 45 x 90 feet including a library, computer lab, multi-use room, administrative office & an office for the psychologists to work out of. Please pray for funding for this building.
2. Transition Home for Kids - this home will be a place for the kids to transition from the streets (for about 3 months).
3. Master Farm Plan - the property has 27 acres, but only using about 3. The farm project is intended to rely less on out if country resources and create some in country income.
One of the bigger issues that they deal with is theft. They need some fencing, a guard at night and some additional day workers.

2. A vehicle to serve teams, projects and more than 26 kids in the morning and afternoon.
