Today we’ll fix that by exploring how action is the antidote to low confidence and give steps to follow so you can improve your PT confidence immediately.

Confidence… or lack of Lack of confidence often halts our plans. We delay decisions, thinking we need to feel more confident first. But confidence comes from taking action.

Low confidence often masks:

  • Fear of failure or success
  • Lack of experience
  • Poor decision history
  • Belief issues
  • Future worries

Action steps to build confidence:

  1. Be specific: Identify the exact situation you lack confidence in.
  2. Question it: Have you faced it before, or are you predicting the outcome?
  3. Schedule it: Plan actions that will boost confidence in that area.
  4. Practice: Repeat actions regardless of your current confidence level.

If you want to be a PT but lack confidence:

  • Set a decision deadline.
  • Choose a supportive course.
  • Stick to your decision and plan regular actions.
  • Take action despite low confidence; it’s the best remedy.

Your training course is a great opportunity to grow into the PT you need to be.

Practice makes perfect:

  • Work with case study clients.
  • Hone your organizational and communication skills.
  • Believe in yourself and stay positive.
