In 1986 Hollywood wanted to capitalize on this space craze among young kids and released the family friendly adventure film "SpaceCamp". Unfortunately the movie was lost and a financial flop because the country was still in shock and mourning the astronauts lost in the Shuttle Challenger disaster that took place months before "SpaceCamp" hit theaters.

In the 1990's super hero movies were not that big of a deal. Superman had fallen out opf favor and Batman was getting away from it's Tim Burton influences. To fill the void, Roger Corman put into production a film that would highlight Marvel Comics iconic team The Fantastic Four. The movie was made, and then never released.
