In 1982 Space Camp opened in Huntsville Alabama. It was a place that promoted science, math, and the U.S. Space program to young students. The 1980's also saw the launch of the Space Shuttle program. Space exploration was cool to the kids in America. In 1986 Hollywood wanted to capitalize on this space craze among young kids and released the family friendly adventure film "SpaceCamp". Unfortunately the movie was lost and a financial flop because the country was still in shock and mourning the astronauts lost in the Shuttle Challenger disaster that took place months before "SpaceCamp" hit theaters. Join Tina and RD as they discuss "SpaceCamp" and wonder if the film was doomed because of the Challenger tragedy, or if it was not a very good movie to begin with. Download the episode for free. "The Space Camp Song!" is written and performed by Jeff Finley

The Fantastic Four (1994)
In the 1990's super hero movies were not that big of a deal. Superman had fallen out opf favor and Batman was getting away from it's Tim Burton influences. To fill the void, Roger Corman put into production a film that would highlight Marvel Comics iconic team The Fantastic Four. The movie was made, and then never released. Join Ty and RD as they go over the story of the movie, and the movie itself "The Fantastic Four". Download the episode for free.
