On today's episode Cian chats to a TV personality, hairstylist activist, and the first known transgender woman to have undergone gender reassignment surgery in Ireland in 1991, Rebecca de Havilland. We spoke about navigating being LGBTQ+ in the 70s when it was illegal to be gay in Ireland, getting suspended from school for knocking off her teacher's wig with a blackboard duster, and being randomly re-united with her daughter after 25 years while working at the Wright venue.
