In this episode Maj Nate "Kiwi" Jaenichen and Tim Barrick co-host a discussion on Marine Corps University's upcoming Fall 2024 wargaming tournaments that are hosted in the University's Wargaming Cloud. The tournaments run in parallel from September through November and are open to all Marines, other US joint service personnel, and military schools from across allies and partners. Top Tactics 24 focuses on infantry company tactics on a modern battlefield setting, including loitering munitions. This individual tournament runs in 3 rounds. WarPlan 44 focuses on the 1944 campaigns in World War 2's European Theater with players fighting the Breakout from Normandy, Market Garden and Bagration. WarPlan 44 is a team play tournament with individual scores aggregated for the team score.
