Diego Noriega is currently the managing partner of Newtopia, an early-stage VC aiming to become one of the main drivers of the Latin American entrepreneurial ecosystem. Before becoming an investor, Diego co-founded more than 23 successful companies, including AlaMaula, which eBay acquired. Drawing on his strong business development skills and knowledge, he has mentored more than 1200 startups, evaluated more than 2000 companies for investment, and delivered about 250 conferences on business development and entrepreneurship.
In his current role as Managing Partner at Newtopia, he is responsible for building the Newtopia community and supporting the teams through extensive mentoring programs. The goal of Newtopia is to fund the most outstanding Latin American entrepreneurial talent and guide them on their path to global markets.
