In the first episode of Approaching The Pros, @_DEVYScout breaks down breakout candidate Thomas Yassmin.
Yassmin, originally from Whyalla, plays as a tight end for the Utah Utes football team. In the class of 2018, he was ranked 1409th nationally and 97th as an athlete by 247Sports.com. He was also considered the second-best football prospect in AUST.
Thomas Yassmin announced on Sunday, January 8th, that he will be returning for the 2023 season instead of declaring for the NFL Draft. Looking at his stats from the 2022, Yassmin achieved a career-high by making 23 catches for 301 yards and scoring six touchdowns. When Brant Kuithe was injured early in the year against ASU, Yassmin stepped up and was a vital player in Utah's second Pac-12 Championship.
