Episode 8: My Neighbor Totoro & The Cider House Rules
For the inaugural episode of 2021, the Blindspots Duo are back in action as they revisit a pair of feel-good movies from their younger lives. Up first, Jake and Kristy journey to the magical world of Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro and experience all of the wonderfully fantastical creatures and elements it has to offer. Then, they explore the life of an orphaned young man in WWII-era Maine, who becomes a doctor and falls in love in Lasse Hallstrom's The Cider House Rules. It's an episode of warmth and self-discovery, filled with apple orchards and catbuses to help ring in the new year.
Music used from the film My Neighbor Totoro.
