In this episode, the FilmBhais analyse Tumbbad (2018) by Rahi Anil Barve, Adesh Prasad and Anand Gandhi (creative director).
This film is a meditation on generational greed inherent in a particular family in the small town of Tumbbad in India. It is one of the (if not the most) unique horror films to come out of India in recent memory. It was a passion project by a group of passionate filmmakers and they have put all their creativity on screen and created a film that speaks to a core aspect of our human psyche.
