If you have your ears on the ground you have probably heard of or watched the documentary @softiethefilm and seen the massive attention and recognitionit is receiving,worldwide!!!
I cannot wait for you to meet the director and producer behind this massive project and so many more, the awesome filmmaker and documentary addict 😉Sam Soko🙌🏾.
Sam Soko is a director and producer based in Nairobi, Kenya. His work on socio political projects in music and film has allowed him to connect and work with artists around the world. He is co-founder of LBx Africa, @lbxafrica , a Kenyan production company that produced the 2018 Academy Award–nominated short fiction film Watu Wote and most recently, Softie The Film.
Softie The Film is an activist's handbook, that follows the work of @bonifacemwangi and his efforts to bring a difference and challenge the system - through his eyes and his family's! It is a powerful story that has gone ahead to win the special jury editing @sundanceorg & opening night film @hotdocs . This incredible project was directed and produced by @soko_sam
