S3, Ep. 9 - Part 1: Finding The Joy In Babies - Dr. Phanice Okara

Today’s safari takes us down a path that a lot of paediatricians have contemplated as a specialty. A significant number of paediatricians naturally gravitate towards neonatology as a specialty, and many have argued that it is the foundation of paediatrics. I had the fortunate opportunity of sitting with Dr. Phanice Okara who chose the road less travelled in the world of neonatology. Her mastery of words as she brings her stories to life was truly a treat as she shares her safari of neonatology training across two continents, navigating different health care systems, social bonds and where she is now. Should you decide to get in touch directly, she can be reached on drphaniceokara@gmail.com.
