Today’s safari takes us down a path that a lot of paediatricians have contemplated as a specialty. A significant number of paediatricians naturally gravitate towards neonatology as a specialty, and many have argued that it is the foundation of paediatrics. I had the fortunate opportunity of sitting with Dr. Phanice Okara who chose the road less travelled in the world of neonatology.
