Steadfast Love & Just Judgement (Holy Love - Nahum: Lesson 4)
Pastor Matt Hodge (Discipleship Pastor) - Nahum 3:19 (Nahum 1:7; 2:1-13; 3:1-19; Jonah 4:11; John 16:29-33; 2 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Matthew 12:40-41)
In this final lesson, we want to walk through Nahum 2 and 3 and see a description of a God who loves fiercely and who judges righteously. A God whose Word carries power and authority, and who calls His people to trust Him, live for Him, and stand against the evil and hatred of this world.
These chapters show us that God’s love is not passive but active, just, and righteous. As we explore His faithfulness, the certainty of His Word, and His judgment against sin, we will see how God calls His people to respond with courage and faith.
Series description:
Nahum reminds us that God’s love and holiness are never in conflict. To those who trust Him, He is a refuge of strength and faithfulness; to those who persist in sin and oppression, He is a righteous judge.
This study explores how God’s holy love offers comfort to His people while confronting the reality of evil, calling us to trust in His justice and rest in His steadfast care.
