Emma Sheardown - There’s No Such Word As Can’t
Despite it being against all odds and expectations, due to being born with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, Emma learned to walk.  Not only did she manage this, but she went on to win gold representing Great Britain at Para Dressage.    The title of her book is “There’s No Such Word As Can’t” and she really is a living inspiration on how to find your own way through a difficult situation, and never giving up.  Today she shares what has inspired her amazing journey.    Click play now to hear how she managed to bounce back from her sporting career being cut short, to become an inspirational Tedx speaker.  Emma also shares with us her love of animals, and her passion for improving disability awareness.    “I look up to quite a few people, quite a few people with disabilities, whether they be athletes or comedians, I’m a big fan of Rosie Jones the comedian, anyone with a disability that puts themselves out there, who follows their dreams and ambitions, and works hard - because at the same time as doing what they love to do, by being out there, they are also being an advocate for people with disabilities.”  Emma Sheardown    INSPIRING GLOBAL FILM GROUP  If you want to share in some of the inspiration of our guests, we have a new Inspiring Global Film Facebook Group, where we meet to share the experience of the inspiring films recommended by the podcast guests – click on link below to join for free.  https://m.facebook.com/groups/516917806754604/?ref=invite_via_link&invite_short_link_key=g%2F2nbMbFVph%2FaLLva7MT&_rdr SUPPORTERS CHANNEL   If you love our content and want more, head over to the first link below and subscribe to our Patreon channel, where you can get closer to the action, with video versions of a number of our episodes, plus exclusive subscriber content in the form of the “Secrets To Success” bonus questions, provided by selected guests.  https://www.patreon.com/FearlessInspiration Here at Fearless Inspiration we are on a mission to build a gigantic bank of inspiration, and events that dissolve barriers.  I’d love to hear from you at inspiringteamhuman@gmail.com    Show links    Emma’s website  https://www.emmasheardown.com/  Emma’s Tedx talk  https://youtu.be/28PMASBLU3o Emma’s LinkedIn  https://www.linkedin.com/in/esheardown-motivationalspeaker Riding for the disabled  https://www.rda.org.uk/  Rosie Jones – Comedian  https://rosiejonescomedy.com/  The Theory of Everything – Inspiring Film  https://youtu.be/Salz7uGp72c  Proud, Heather Small – Song  https://youtu.be/OygsHbM1UCw  The Midnight Library, Matt Haig – Book  http://www.matthaig.com/books/midnight-library/  Shoe Dog, Phil Night – Book  https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shoe-Dog-Memoir-Creator-NIKE/dp/1471146707
