In 1922, a small town in Germany was witness to a terrible crime scene. It was out of the blue, completely unexpected, for everybody but the family. There were signs, before, that something bad was going to happen. Signs that things were not right in the farmhouse.
It remains of the most complicated and complex murder cases in history. There’s been very few -if any- quite as chilling, quite as unnerving, quite as cold. And not just because of the dead bodies.
