School is in session and we’re back too, kicking-off a brand-new season of the “FDNY Smart Podcast for Kids!” just in time for Fire Prevention Week. While not every emergency or fire is preventable, there are steps we can take to help us stay safe if and when an emergency happens. In this episode, Firefighter Danny’s cousin, Manny, performs a fire safety poem and our student host, Chloe, interviews Fire Safety Education officer Captain Michael Kozo. We discuss being prepared, having a plan and how to practice that plan.
