Fast Friends with Logan Cummins
Logan Cummins
54 episodes

The podcast where standup comedian Logan Cummins sets out to make friends with each and every one of his guests by the end of the episode. Based very loosely on research from psychologist Arthur Aron’s Fast Friends Protocol, each episode will be structured so that the host and his guest(s) build connection gradually through discussion; starting with small talk and becoming increasingly personal as the interview goes on.

Each episode culminates in a moment of truth where Logan sends his guest a metaphorical Friend Request, and the guest must answer if they Accept or Ignore.

You’ve Gotta Bomb To Get Better ft. Vince Carone

On this week’s episode, Logan sets out to make friends with stand up comedian Vince Carone.

Join them as Logan brags about his Internet sleuthing skills and then starts off with wrong research, a couple of stories about Vince and his sister’s fights from growing up, what led him to the yearbook photo quote “On a Honeymoon with Ms. Thuren,” the role that high school drama played in getting comfortable talking in front of people, why he spent time transcribing other comics’ bits, discovering that he could study at Second City, having Jason Sudeikis as a teacher, how he weaved “buttf*cking a goat” into his first time doing improv, how he transitioned to stand-up comedy, going from a set-up/punchline comedian to an on-stage ranter, building a cult fan following, if he sees his sense of humor in his own kids, his favorite chemical-laden food, the weirdest thing I’d find if I went through his drawers, the most awkward game of F/M/K and more!

The Fast Friends Fortune Teller determines that they’ll play a game of Never Have I Ever before Logan sends Vince a friend request IRL.
