"The label is the law": a phrase that is very common to hear from agriculture professionals, which means that it is our responsibility to understand and follow the directives written in the label of a specific pesticide we intend to use. Increasing our knowledge regarding the appropriate use of a product can help us reduce the negative impacts of these chemicals that vary in toxicity, modes of action, and many other aspects. This chapter is solely dedicated to discussing the pesticide label parts and wording for applicators.
