Science is complicated. Farming is the delicate balance between what we can do for our crops vs. environmental and biological challenges. In the end, the most equipped survives. Choosing the correct genetics, designing the best layout complemented with knowledge of what we might encounter in terms of diseases and disorders goes a long ways in determining our production success. Plant Pathologist Marlia Bosques guides us through the steps needed for accurately identifying plant diseases on the farm. We discuss differences between signs and symptoms we can observe in field crops, which can help us correctly decipher production problems.
