We talk about the good the bad and the ugly of generational farming. We introduce your hosts, Garrett and Ashley, sibling dairy farmers in Eastern Washington State.  The goal of our podcast is to provide you with relatable content about what it’s like to farm with older generations and to diversify to make the operation sustainable for ourselves and our kids. We want to offer you systems, mindset shifts, tools and testimonies to improve your farm’s longevity. Not because we’re experts, but because we want to learn this stuff alongside you.  Follow us on facebook and instagram @darilanefarms.

19. If your dream job is to work on a farm, start here

If you think you (or your kid) should work on a farm for the life experience, we agree. But here are some things we look for in an applicant.

  1. Work ethic
  2. Desire to have a purpose rather than just a paycheck
  3. Willingness/desire to learn
  4. Punctuality
  5. Communication
  6. No whining

Don't forget to leave a review and share with your friends. Thanks for helping the podcast grow.
