I define Legacy as the invisible thread that connects past, present, and future, ensuring the stories and values we hold dear endure long after we are gone. We want generations who never knew our name to feel our impact and work by what we built through our farms and ranches. I believe in the strength of family farms and ranches and the legacies they carry. Farming and ranching isn't what we do; it's who we are. We want our work to matter, which is why we must PLAN to leave our legacy well.

Tar Tut: Yes, his real name & an unlikely Livestock Judge

This guy is something else. Immigrant parents fled the Civil War in Sudan and he was born in the US, one month prior to 9/11 His parents don't know their ages, really (imagine that) and that's just the beginning of this skinny kid's story!

Chairman of NJHA this year.

Article about Tar: Here's his story!

A person you want to meet AND spend time with if you get the chance. This is why I am SO HOPEFUL about the young people of this country.
