Melancholy Clown--Starring Lizabeth Scott, Dean Stockwell, Lionel Barrymore
Family Theater Productions presents this remastered family radio play from January 1949. The Host is Lizabeth Scott. The play tells the story of a boy, David, drawn to show business and the mentor who helped him. David in youth is played by a young Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap, Battle Star Galactica) and the older David by the great Lionel Barrymore (great uncle to Drew, known best as Mr. Potter in It’s a Wonderful Life). Presented here with a new introduction from Father David Guffey.
