Shelby has lead a life like no other and at a very young age was faced with the choice to turn to self or continue to conform to family, religious and cultural beliefs. She continued to walk the path of heartbreak and loss and hit her bottom as a very young widow while six months pregnant. Her story is a beautiful example of emerging from despair by loving herself.
