Jesus issues a powerful warning to His disciples about staying away from the leaven of the Pharisee’s. This was during a time when mass ministry was taking place so much so that people were literally stepping on each other to try and get to Jesus. The table was set for authentic healthy ministry, not the phony stuff. What the misguided and stubborn Pharisee’s were doing wasn’t going to cut it and Jesus needed to make sure that all of His followers didn’t let that leaven into their lives.
