EPISODE DESCRIPTION: Family life expert, Ted Futris, PhD, and Amanda Harner, discuss healthy relationships and Elevate (skills-based, evidence-informed program that helps couples form, improve, and sustain healthy relationships) in the episode of the FACS of Life. Ted Futris is the Family Life Specialist for the University of Georgia and is the primary investigator on the Elevate grant project (funded by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant #90ZB0010). In addition to his work with Extension, Dr. Futris serves as the editor of the NCFR Report: Family Focus, the Georgia Athletic Association Professor in Family and Consumer Sciences, and a Graduate Coordinator. Dr. Futris is a National Council on Family Relations Fellow (2021).
