Italian GP 2025 – F1 REVIEW – "And boy, was it speedy!"

George has a quick reaction off the line as he's straight into reviewing this weekend’s action at the Temple of Speed in Italy. George dives into the record-breaking qualifying laps from Norris and Verstappen, analysing why Monza once again delivered breathtaking top speeds and why Max might just be showing us his finest ever form in Formula 1. He reflects on how Red Bull’s low downforce setup gave Max the edge, plus a nod to the rising young talents Hadjer and Bearman making their presence felt in the sport (whom he forgot to talk about enough last time!).

From a trip onto the grass at the race start with Max and Lando, to Antonelli’s continued nightmare, through to McLaren’s pit stop drama between Norris and Piastri, George breaks down all the big moments. Was Norris too soft in giving up strategy rights? Was Bearman’s penalty harsh? And are Red Bull in danger of wasting another future star? Wrapping it all up, George gives a nod to legends of the sport's past Nikki Lauda and Robert Kubica.
