This week's episode is kind of short because if you can't tell from the box behind him, Erik is moving from Michigan to Florida! He goes over what brought that up. We're also taking next week off since D.J. will be out of town and Erik is moving so its our "Summer Break".
The bulk of the show today is dedicated to looking over the 2026 Formula 1 schedule and the big item of note is Monaco is moved to mid-June and F1 will be taking on last part of the Indianapolis 500 directly in television ratings. With Indy 500 TV ratings on the rise again and still considered a mega event in the United States is this move smart? Is it just arrogance thinking they can take on the US's largest motorsports event in TV ratings?
On the second half of the show, we recap NASCAR at Michigan, the excessive use of the John Fogerty guitar riff every time they come back from commercial, and the storylines coming up as NASCAR heads to Mexico for the first time in many years, IndyCar heads to Gateway, F1 heads to Canada, and we have the Le Mans 24 hour race all in one weekend! Oh and because of traveling and moving Erik and D.J. won't have time to watch any of those!
