Welcome to Season 2 of the Expression Impressions Podcast, where we're going to be interviewing performers and those engaged with the creative arts!
Today's guest is Ms Alissa Sheth, a dancer and educator with 20 years of experience. She holds a BA and MA in English Literature from University College London, as well as a MA in the Teaching of English from Teachers college, Columbia University. She has taught at schools and learning centres in New York and New Delhi, with a special focus on children with learning differences.
Moreover, Ms Sheth joined the Imperial Fernando Ballet Company in New Delhi in 2008 and became an instructor in 2014, teaching and choreographing for children between the ages of 4 and 16. As part of the International training program faculty, she also teaches a course titled “Introduction to the History of Ballet”, contextualising the technique studied by her students.
We've had a thrilling conversation, and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did :)
