More about our guest Amayra Morales:
Amayra was born in Peru and when terrorism escalated in the 90’s she migrated to Sydney, Australia with her family. From a very young age she wanted to travel and in 2013 she made a promise to herself that by the age of 40 she would travel to 40 countries.
Her awakening came in 2018 when she left the corporate world and decided to go to India to fulfil her dream of becoming a yoga teacher. After her Yoga Teacher Training she got sick and through a series of fortunate events she ended up at an Ayurveda clinic and that was the beginning of the end as she was able to get to the root cause of her health symptoms.
She was immediately drawn to Ayurveda due to its ancient wisdom. This was her stepping stone into other healing modalities like meditation, breathwork, womb healing, ecstatic dance and plant medicine. In 2019 she decided to reconnect to her roots and left Sydney with a one-way ticket to Peru.
Her initial plan was 3 months but due to the events of the recent years she was happily stuck in Peru. As she looks back at that time, she is super grateful for the mysterious ways the universe works.
She realizes that everything happened as it was meant to. During this time, she reconnected with her roots, studied Ayurveda and immersed herself in plant medicine that catapulted her healing journey.
She lives in the magical Sacred Valley and is living her Dharma (soul’s purpose) as she is an Ayurveda Health Coach helping women heal their digestive issues so they can glow from the inside out. Her happy place is ecstatic dance, uses plant medicine to keep healing, learning to dance between her masculine and feminine energy, is very connected with Pachamama/Mother Earth as much she can and she’s the healthiest she’s ever. Once upon a time she believed that this type of life was only reserved for the lucky people of the world but here she is living her best life … and yes she turned 40 this year and accomplished her dream of travelling to 40 countries.
