I love my 'job'. I get to lead a team of 17 that help businesses from new start-ups to growing or established companies, to help understand why numbers/finance and business go hand in hand.
I lean on my own experience as a multiple business owner who has been through some tough times when getting ventures off the ground, to help work with clients who want success for themselves. I love showing the power of technology and figures when coupled with a motivated business owner.
Showing someone how to plan their cash flow, demonstrate their successes or areas for improvement, or helping them increase their income with tax savings are all areas that keep me pumped about what I do.
As someone who didn't start off my working life in the accounting world, I hope to bring no faff, straightforward explanations of the things that matter most to 'real' business people.
After a recent small survey, I've been described as motivated, forward thinking, knowledgeable, and something I am super proud of - enthusiastic. I see myself as one of life's positive people.
I am lucky enough to lead a team who work with small business across the country to use their knowledge of numbers to help them them grow.
