We’re joined today by Dr. Hillary McBride for a conversation about grief and its effect on our bodies. Joan and Jamie share a similar journey of leaving religion as Hillary, so the three discuss the grief over losing one’s identity in God. Hillary explains how important and routine it is for humans to change and reshape our ideas of reality, and it is in these repeated moments that we build our resilience and confidence to withstand the grief that accompanies us throughout all of life.
