Michael is the CEO of The Maine Enneagram Center for Transformation and Well-Being and author of The Alchemy of the Enneagram in Transforming Addiction: A Guide for Professionals Helping Men Recover Their Lives.
In this interview, Michael shares about his journey as a “recovering” Enneagram Type 4 and how knowledge of his Type supported him in compassionate “self observation”--viewing his inner experience with greater loving-kindness and equanimity, developing a greater sense of humor, learning how to truly process his “undigested” suffering, becoming “right-sized” and learning the distinction between feeling his feelings and creatively dramatizing his experience. Join us as Michael shares about his path of following his curiosity toward teachings and modalities that served him, finding people who could support him in gaining objectivity on his experiences, and learning to see the “movie” of his life for what it was.
