In this thought-provoking episode, we take a deep and honest look at one of the most misunderstood subjects in modern Christianity — the nature of God. Is God really three distinct persons as tradition teaches, or is He one God manifested in different ways to redeem and dwell among mankind? The Bible declares, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord” (Deuteronomy 6:4). Yet many have accepted man’s doctrine of a triune God rather than the pure revelation of Scripture.
We will explore how the idea of “three persons in one God” developed over time and why it cannot be found in the early apostolic church or the teachings of Jesus and His apostles. God is not divided. He is not three separate beings working together in harmony. He is one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, and one baptism (Ephesians 4:4–6). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are not three co-equal persons, but three manifestations or roles of the same Almighty God who created the world, came in flesh as Jesus Christ, and now dwells within His people through the Holy Spirit.
