I'm Ruby, I'm 22 and I live in London. I graduated from Cambridge last year and have been working in TV production since. I'm taking time off work to go on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across France and Spain (the full Camino Frances). I will be walking 800 km as a female solo traveller, completely untrained (in fact with a hip injury). This journey has been a dream of mine since I was 15, when I read The Pilgrimage by Paulo Coelho. From the practical, emotional, historical and spiritual, to the deep connections (and blisters) I’m expecting to make, you will hear it all. Buen camino!

4: Interviewing Patricia Fara, Historian of Science at the University of Cambridge

What is a genius?

Hello, welcome back to Everyone Is Extraordinary! Today I chat to Clare College Emeritus Fellow Patricia Fara. She is an incredible Historian of Science at the University of Cambridge. She has written about many things, including the way in which we remember past female practitioners of science. In this episode you will learn a bit about past agents of science, Patricia Fara's life and journey into academia, and whether geniuses exist at all. It was a total joy to interview her :)
