Legacy Power Ranking – March ’25 | EP.186
I feel like for the last ~18 months, Legacy has near-constantly been in a state of suspense, anxiously anticipating the next big change. And I can't be alone in disliking it. I enjoy it when not just "the current meta" but the format as a whole settles, and actually allows for people to get deeper into their decks and find their place in the format. It's what initially "entrenched" me into the format, and what I think Magic as a whole could really use. Guess what I'm looking for is a break from the constant hype, change and even just anticipation of the next big thing that might just be around the corner. Note that I don't mean that in a sense of wanting bans to slow down; if anything, quite the opposite. I've always enjoyed Legacy for being somewhat decoupled from the fast pace of what Standard used to be. As such, we're trying to be the change we wanna see, and dive into the depths of not just the format but the meta as a whole to establish what's going on. Yeah, things might surely change again over the course of this year, but I really do enjoy taking a conscious step back and taking a good look at the status quo. Everyone's different, but I feel we haven't done that enough on a greater scale. Less change and anticipation, more admiration!00:00:00 Kai Loves Star Wars Episode II00:10:30 4 Seasons Legacy Review00:29:30 The State of Legacy00:40:00 Legacy Power Ranking / Tier Listhttps://mtgtop8.com/event?e=65665&f=LEhttps://mtgtop8.com/event?e=65900&f=LEThank you for tuning in,Until next time!Julian
