Legendary Sasha Djordjevic joined Antonis Stroggylakis and Cesare Milanti at Eurohoops’ EurohooPOD to talk about his vast career as a player and a coach and his current job with the Chinese national team. Djordjevic looked back at his stints with Virtus Bologna and Fenerbhace where he was fired after winning championships with both teams and analyzes the work he put on with those clubs and also Panathinaikos. He also discusses Partizan’s missed opportunity to make the 2022 Final Four plus his look at the infamous brawl, current EuroLeague favorites. A longtime successful coach of Serbia, Djordjevic touched on the 2023 World Cup, while naming player who is the future of Serbian basketball. He also commented on Vasilijie Micic’s rough first months with the Thunder and explained why he decided to end his own NBA run quickly back in the 1996.
