Eurizon Weekly, 02.09.2025. Global stock markets down slightly in a week that saw a renewed focus on political issues. Profit-taking, however, follows three extremely positive weeks in August, with stock markets reaching new highs due to expectations of a Fed rate cut in September. The stock markets also benefited from trade agreements signed by the USA with Japan and the EU, while macro data offered reassuring signs.
