At the 9th session of the Conference of the States Parties (CoSP9) of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), a resolution has been adopted related to the promotion of anti-corruption education. In general, CoSP resolutions aim to put a spotlight on ongoing and emerging issues that pose challenges to the implementation. Despite the fact that resolutions are not legally binding as it is the UNCAC Convention, CoSP resolutions provide guidance to States Parties and it is expected that they are taken on the national level, to better implement the UNCAC Convention. Alex Petkov, a Project Associate at the UNODC and that works on UNODC anti-corruption education initiatives and projects discuss the impact of CoSP9 Resolution on Education. Na 9ª sessão da Conferência dos Estados Partes (CoSP9) da Convenção das Nações Unidas contra a Corrupção (UNCAC – United Nations Convention Against Corruption) foi adotada uma resolução relacionada à promoção da educação anticorrupção. Em geral, as resoluções CoSP visam destacar questões atuais e emergentes que representam desafios para a implementação Apesar do fato de que as resoluções não sejam vinculativas juridicamente, como é a a UNCAC, as resoluções CoSP fornecem orientação aos Estados Partes e se espera que sejam tomadas em nível nacional, como forma de melhor implementação da  Convenção UNCAC.
