Talal Rafi was nominated as Young Global Leader in the World Economic Forum for his work on inspiring, connecting, and transforming society for the better. Mr. Rafi was part of an expert panel at Chatham House London (Royal Institute of International Affairs) with industry experts from Goldman Sachs and World Bank on the topic “The Covid-19 Gender Gap: How Women’s Experience and Expertise will drive economic recovery” on formulating recommendations for the leaders of the G7 & G20 countries. He consults as an Industry Expert under the World Bank AHEAD Project at the Moratuwa University Entrepreneurship Center.
He is also on the Selection Committee and Jury Panel of the Asian Development Bank #DigitalAgainstCovid-19 Innovation Series.
An entrepreneur by profession, Talal was actively involved in many other fields. Following his education in London, he gained valuable experience in the emerging industry of electronic cigarettes working in the City of London. With a focus on marketing and consultancy, Talal continued his experience in business in diverse sectors such as FMCG, real estate, insurance, and banking.
