Aaron Jensen, an ultra runner who overcame colorectal cancer in 2021 and finished a 100-mile marathon just a year later. Aaron grew up camping and hiking in the Uinta Mountains, but says he lost a bit of himself in his 20s and early 30s. He wasn’t eating well or exercising and didn’t feel healthy. He eventually turned back to hiking and trail running, but then got hit with the gut-wrenching revelation that he had cancer. Listen as he explains how that moment changed his life and what his journey has been like since.

She did some backpacking and hiking in college, but got busy with life and raising a family of nine kids, until around the age of 50, when the inspiration to get outdoors struck again and has been a huge part of her life ever since.
