In this weeks episode we chat to Irene Perrett MA, Cert Ed., BHS IV SM from Drayford Equine Learning and Fun or DELF for short. Irene tells us about her latest distinction grade MA at Exeter University on 

We discuss the human animal relationships around the world and how different cultures view and how animals fit into their society. Animals have different jobs all over the world and when it comes to equines there are some stark contrasts in how we view this in the Western world and how having a more holistic view which looks into the balance of all things living including nature could mark big steps into the emotions and welfare of the animals in our lives. We go on to talk about the importance of focussing on the relationship we have with individual animals rather than the goals is key into creating trust. 

We were joined by a group of ducks who had a lot to say on that matter so you may want to join in on that chorus! :-)
