Dr Steve Sutton has nearly two decades of experience working in and researching bushfires . As Chief Fire Control Officer in the Northern Territory, Steve was responsible for Territory-wide bushfire control, hazard reduction and bushfire mitigation, and oversaw the operations of the Territory’s volunteer bushfire brigades. He is an advocate for grass-roots initiatives to weave networks of belonging that foster resilience to climate change and disasters.
