Over half a million Victorians went without power and at least 60 homes were reported destroyed in extreme storms, heat and fires but somehow the capitalist media managed to report all this without mentioning the "C" word once. Sam Galvin is a volunteer firefighter who has spent much of the past week battling to protect the people of his home district around the Dandenong Ranges. He shares his first hand experience of the climate disaster wracking his communty.
