This week on the podcast, John has an insightful talk with Matt Lashey, Co-Founder and CEO of Treatment Technologies & Insights and Creator of chemoWave and Wave Health. Treatment, Technologies & Insights is a health technology company with a portal that provides insight for physicians to receive reports and data on their patients, while chemoWave and Wave Health are two AI apps that generate personalized health insights based on patients’ experiences.

After using Matt’s partner’s experience with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma to gather data and insights, their doctor encouraged them to create an app for other patients, thus beginning an entrepreneurial journey. Matt talks about how TTI’s platform and apps collect data and generate reports for physicians to read as a guide, identifying characteristics and possible relationships between their symptoms and medications throughout their treatments. He also discusses the perception of data in the healthcare industry as he’s witnessed it venturing into the current health tech space, where systems are siloed and integration seems to be difficult.
