Episode 81: Carter & Dylann: "I’ve always been interested in the music that actually meant something."

Carter and Dylann are two members of Operating System Offline, a young band from Rochester, MN. In this episode, Kendra and Rich learn about how this new band has been treated by older members of the music scene, how the band’s upcoming single tackles the issue of child sex abuse and the effect it has on families, how stigmas have changed around mental health over the years, and how police and the justice system treat people differently based on race, gender and privilege.

In 2025, we are interested in talking to teachers, authors, artists, activists, counselors, community organizers, and anyone else who is dedicated to making a positive impact in their music community and our society as a whole.
