Hello again πŸ‘‹πŸ»πŸ’œβœ¨ I'm delighted you've decided to join me for chats on healing, opening up about how your feeling, friendship, trust issues and what I found helpful. I also talk about how people showed up for me when I opened up about my struggles and what was helpful and not. It was recorded in September of last year but imposter syndrome delayed me posting it. Better late than never eh? I touch on what it was like opening up about my silent struggle with mental illness. I chat about what it was like to start to share how I was actually feeling after masking it for so long and what helped and what didn't. Of course there's a whole lot of healing, and recognising that often what triggers you is an indication of where there is still healing needed to be done. It's also important to set boundaries with yourself and others around what you are comfortable sharing. TW ⚠️ (trigger warning) I do touch on what it was like to open up about self harm but I did this a couple of years after it was a problem for me as I wasn't able to talk about it with anyone at the time but everyone is different.
